Overview
This role is part-time (approximately 0.6 fte) from January 2026, initially offered for one academic term. However, there is a strong likelihood that the role will be extended for the remainder of the academic year. Based in the Kent countryside and close to the Cathedral city of Canterbury, Junior King’s is one of the most prestigious prep schools in the country. Responsibilities
Teach Maths, Boys’ Games and History to Year 7 and 8 pupils.
Support and contribute to the broader extracurricular life of a busy day and boarding Prep School.
Qualifications
Qualified Prep School teacher with the ability to teach Maths, Boys’ Games and History.
Applications welcome from experienced, newly qualified, and overseas trained teachers who already have the right to work in the UK; note visa sponsorship is not available.
Ability to engage with a range of pupils and embrace the broader school community.
