We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our legal team! We have a robust caseload and represent our clients in a wide-range of matters, including civil rights and employment litigation, administrative dismissals, licensing revocations and in criminal matters. The position requires litigation interest and experience and offers an excellent opportunity to utilize and develop your skills within a supportive environment and develop a client base. We are a boutique law firm with a more than 50-year history of defending and advocating for employee rights, particularly public sector employees. Our broad caseload also involves business and real estate matters, probate and family law, personal injury and criminal defense. Our clients arise from throughout California, but mostly SoCal. We are passionate about our work and committed to achieving excellent outcomes for our clients. We are looking for someone to join our team who is like-minded, with a strong work ethic and professional ethics. Responsibilities
Consulting with potential clients to engage our services Managing a docket of cases Prepare and draft legal documents, pleadings and discovery on behalf of clients Conducting and defending depositions Represent clients in court and before various government agencies Negotiate and document settlements Qualifications
A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school Admission to the California State Bar Previous litigation experience Ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues, including opposing counsel Excellent written and verbal communication skills Company Description
