Mother of Our Redeemer Catholic School is hiring for an
English and Language Arts Teacher
for the upcoming 2025-26 school year. The ELA Teacher will deliver high-quality instruction in English Language Arts to students in grades 6-8. This role involves designing and implementing engaging lessons, maintaining a positive and supportive classroom environment, assessing student progress, and collaborating with colleagues and parents. The teacher will ensure alignment with curriculum standards and provide tailored support to meet the diverse needs of students. A valid teaching certification is required. The candidate performs all duties and responsibilities with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.
Salary is commensurate with certification and years of service. Qualifications:
BS/BA Degree in Education, English, or Reading. Florida Department of Education Teaching certificate in English or Reading. Minimum of two years’ teaching experience. Excellent presentation skills with use of instructional technologies. Able to work collaboratively with other teachers and department staff. Must have clear and concise English language communications with students and parents. Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in the Roman Catholic environment preferred. Knowledge of basic tenets of the Catholic Church.
