Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School in Miami Lakes, Florida is searching for an enthusiastic and creative
Middle School English & Language Arts Teacher
for the coming 2025-26 school year. This applicant will be expected to teach English-Language Arts for grades 5-8. Secondly, s/he will be responsible for creating and implementing age-appropriate, engaging, and motivating lesson plans following ADOM standards. The candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.
Salary will vary based on certification and years of service. Qualifications:
BS / BA Degree in Secondary Education or Language Arts education. Must have FDOE Teaching Certificate in Language Arts grades 5-9. Experience in STREAM applications preferred. Excellent oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice. Good spelling and grammar required. Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel, PowerPoint a plus. Must be supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred. Strong presentation skills including use of instructional technologies. Must have knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church. Must have a professional demeanor. To apply:
