Position Details Security Officer Access Control Auto Site

– Mount Holly, NC – Full Time – $19.00 / Hour

Schedule

Mon: 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM

Tue: 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM

Wed: 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM

Thu: 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM

Fri: 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM

What You’ll Do

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across commercial real estate, healthcare, and education environments

Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, following site‑specific policies, and responding to emergency situations at the automotive location.

Monitor and control access to the premises, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security concerns.

Document and report any unusual activity, security‑related incidents, or maintenance issues observed during patrols or access control duties.

Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and contractors, providing information and assistance while maintaining security protocols.

Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site contacts to address security needs and support emergency response activities.

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and adaptability to different post assignments

Desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full‑time roles when available

Minimum Requirements

At least 1 year of security‑related experience

Valid Emergency Medical Technician certification

Prior supervisory experience

High school diploma or General Education Diploma

At least 21 years of age for armed roles; 18+ for unarmed roles

Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only

Background investigation and drug screening required in accordance with law

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
