Leadership experience in academic orthopedic surgery are preferred. Core faculty duties will include direct patient care, scholarly activity, and faculty development. Active participation in the education of undergraduate medical students and graduate medical education programs is required. Minimum Qualifications MD degree with Board Certification in Orthopedic Surgery (American Board of Orthopedic Surgery) and/or specialty. Must possess or be eligible for a Texas Medical license and qualified to hold a faculty appointment in the Surgery integrated service unit. Discipline Specific Required Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Completion of accredited fellowship. American Board of orthopedic surgery certification. Fellowship training and clinical experience in adult reconstruction/joint replacement is preferred. Clinical scope includes primary total joint replacement, complex/revision total joint replacement, and joint replacement in the ambulatory surgery setting. License or Certification Required?
