12 hours ago Be among the first 25 applicants We are looking for a Document Controls and Records Management Specialist for our Naval Reactors Facility project office 55 miles from Idaho Falls. Your role will provide support and oversight in the definition and implementation of Document Management and related systems for the Amentum Critical Mission Solutions Nuclear Projects and Consulting Line of Business programs and projects. Additionally you may assist in the development of processes and procedures according to the dynamic needs of our clients and services. Experience should include knowledge of document control processes; records archiving, retention, and destruction practices; and the ability to handle confidential information discreetly. Strong knowledge of document control and records compliance, digitization, and metadata integration is desirable. Must be a self-motivated, effective communicator, with a strong background in Records and Information Management within Engineering, Program Management, Procurement and Construction Management services. Amentum Nuclear Projects is a Tier 1 service provider to the U.S. Department of Energy and Atomic Energy of Canada Limited. We deliver safe and innovative solutions at complex nuclear cleanup and production sites. Our services include program management, decommissioning, environmental remediation, waste and nuclear material management, nuclear operations, consulting and engineering and construction. We are currently executing many contracts, performing work essential to our clients’ missions across a broad range of functional areas. Responsibilities

Ensure that all records are accurate, secure, accessible and compliant with legal and organizational standards. Process and distribute communications and information flow such as submittals, RFIs, and document turnover. Create, revise and format documents including contracts, reports and manuals. Track and manage document version control to ensure accuracy and consistency. Verify that controlled documents include essential information such as dates, titles and applicable signatures before processing. Digitize physical records and ensure proper indexing and storage. Support the complete records lifecycle including creation, classification, retention, archival and compliant disposal. Assist in document and records audit processes and respond to internal and external records requests. Utilize and operate document management tools and electronic records management systems. Collaborate with IT to troubleshoot and improve document systems and train staff on systems. Provide direct contribution to the daily business of document and records management and reporting for metrics and compliance. Provide support for audits and legal inquiries and ensure quality and compliance of program document management plans. Access and manage electronic records securely from remote locations and ensure remote work complies with organizational data security policies. Qualifications

BA or BS desirable; high school diploma or equivalent is required as a minimum. Experience with Document Control and Electronic Records Management Systems (ERMS) such as Prolog, Documentum, SharePoint, ProjectWise or similar platforms. Understanding of different personality types and communication styles for effective presentation, communication and conflict resolution. Capable of extreme attention to detail and ability to perform responsibilities with minimal supervision. Self-motivated to initiate tasks when need is identified. Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely. Preferred Qualifications

Experience with NQA-1 project/program document and records management requirements, processes, procedures and solutions. Knowledge of records retention laws and best practices. Person already residing a commutable distance from the SFHP project office near Scoville, ID to make the commute daily is preferred. Essential Functions

Intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting and lifting. Lifting limited to 20 lbs. Long distance carried of 50 feet. Hand manipulation for simple grasping, pushing and pulling and fine manipulation required. Must be alert to equipment in the field; occasional travel and work near hazardous equipment and machinery; exposure to dust, gas or fumes, noise, extremes in temperature or humidity. Potential work at heights. Location

Main work location approximately 55 miles from Idaho Falls. Secondary work location office in Idaho Falls.
