Sev1Tech is seeking a System Administrator III to support the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC Atlantic) Expeditionary Enterprise Systems and Services (E2S2) Division. NIWC Atlantic provides design, acquisition, and sustainment services for Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) Information Technology (IT) systems. Other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications
Active Top Secret Level Clearance Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems or higher Must have the latest Cybersecurity workforce certification/training in accordance with DoD 8570.1M and subsequent DoD 8140 manual (i.e. CompTIA A+ CE, Network+ CE, Security+ CE, CISSP, and GSEC) Ten (10) years with Master’s OR 11 years with Bachelor’s degree of professional experience in systems administration, including supporting daily operational requirements of computer network systems (workstations, file servers, and web servers) Installation of hardware, software, systems upgrades, network accounts, network security, and web page design, interface and updates, and local system design documentation Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and implementing network security tools including firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection services Capable of training staff on software applicable to their position, assisting customers with information technology, monitoring system configuration (hardware and software), and providing instruction on computers and applications
