Overview
Sev1Tech is seeking a System Administrator III to support the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC Atlantic) Expeditionary Enterprise Systems and Services (E2S2) Division. NIWC Atlantic provides design, acquisition, and sustainment services for Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) Information Technology (IT) systems. Other duties as assigned by management.

Provide system administration for daily operational requirements of computer network systems including workstation, file servers, and web servers.
Install hardware, software, perform systems upgrades, manage network accounts, and updates to web pages; produce and maintain local system design documentation.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and implement network security tools including firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion detection services.
Train staff on software applicable to their position, assist customers with information technology, monitor system configuration (hardware and software), and provide instruction on computers and applications.
Collaborate with management and team members to support operational readiness of IT systems.
Qualifications
Active Top Secret Level Clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems or higher
Must have the latest cybersecurity workforce certification/training in accordance with DoD 8570.1M and subsequent DoD 8140 manual (e.g., CompTIA A+ CE, Network+ CE, Security+ CE, CISSP, GSEC)
Seven (7) years with Master’s or 11 years with Bachelor’s degree of professional experience in systems administration, including supporting daily operational requirements of computer network systems (workstations, file servers, web servers)
Experience with installation of hardware, software, system upgrades, network accounts, network security, and web page design, interface and updates, and local system design documentation
Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and implementing network security tools including firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion detection services
Ability to train staff, assist customers with information technology, monitor system configuration, and provide instruction on computers and applications
