Overview
Sev1Tech is seeking a System Administrator II to support the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC Atlantic) Expeditionary Enterprise Systems and Services (E2S2) Division. NIWC Atlantic provides design, acquisition, and sustainment services for Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) Information Technology (IT) systems. Other duties as assigned by management. Responsibilities
Support daily operational requirements of computer network systems including workstation, file servers, and web servers. Install hardware, software, systems upgrades, create network accounts, manage network security, and design, interface, update, and document local system configurations. Maintain, troubleshoot, and implement network security tools including firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion detection services. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications
Active Top Secret level clearance. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems. Must have the latest cybersecurity workforce certification/training as applicable per DoD 8570.1M and DoD 8140 (e.g., CompTIA A+ CE, Network+ CE, Security+ CE, CISSP, GSEC). Three (3) years of professional experience in systems administration, including supporting daily operational requirements of computer network systems (workstations, file servers, and web servers). Experience with installation of hardware, software, systems upgrades, network accounts, network security, web page design/interface/updates, and local system design documentation.
