W3Global Job Title: CNC Machinist / CNC Programmer

Location: Auburn Hills, MI

Job Description

We are seeking a CNC Machinist and/or CNC Programmer with 1-5+ years of hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate must have strong exposure to mold tooling including:

Low pressure injection molds for investment castings Plastic injection molds (prototype, production, and dunnage molds) Metal injection molds (MIM) RIM molds for foam mold tooling

Responsibilities

Operate and program CNC machines to meet production requirements Build, modify, and maintain mold tooling across multiple applications Utilize precision hand tools and measurement instruments Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Ensure quality standards and adherence to safety protocols Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines

Preferred Skills/Tools

Proficiency in Cimatron or MasterCam Strong mold shop experience Background in automotive, defense, firearms, or consumer product tooling

Qualifications

1-5+ years as a CNC Machinist and/or CNC Programmer Must have direct experience with mold building (investment, plastic, MIM, RIM) Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude
