A Bit About Us Our firm is seeking a seasoned Permanent Immigration Attorney to join our dynamic team. This role is an outstanding opportunity for a legal professional passionate about immigration law and eager to make a significant impact in the lives of individuals and families. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the legal field, with a strong emphasis on immigration matters. This role requires an individual who is knowledgeable about current immigration laws and policies, and who possesses exceptional legal writing skills. Responsibilities
Providing legal advice to clients regarding all aspects of immigration law, including but not limited to asylum, deportation defense, visa applications, and citizenship. Preparing and submitting legal documents such as affidavits, briefs, and appeals. Representing clients in immigration court proceedings, interviews, and meetings. Staying updated on changes in immigration law and policies, and informing clients of how these changes may affect their cases. Conducting thorough and accurate legal research to support case preparation. Collaborating with paralegals and other team members to ensure all case details are accurately recorded and updated. Maintaining high standards of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions with clients, court personnel, and other stakeholders. Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Immigration Attorney role should possess the following qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. A minimum of 3 years of experience in immigration law. Admission to the State Bar. Proven experience in preparing and submitting immigration-related legal documents. Exceptional legal research and writing skills. Strong negotiation and advocacy skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. High level of attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously. Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and confidentiality. Fluency in a second language is a plus. Job Details
