Responsibilities
Lead the design and architecture of Next Generation Firewall (NGFW) solutions tailored to meet the organization’s security and business requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective firewall configurations. Implement and deploy NGFW solutions based on industry best practices, ensuring high levels of security, availability, and performance. Review and update firewall policies to address emerging threats and vulnerabilities. Design, configure, and maintain IPSEC VPN tunnels to establish secure communication channels between remote offices, third-party partners, and cloud environments. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to VPN connectivity and performance. Implement Virtual Routing and Forwarding (VRF) to enhance network segmentation and isolation. Configure and manage Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) to facilitate efficient and scalable routing within the organization’s network infrastructure. Collaborate with IT teams, security analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of NGFW solutions. Qualifications
FTD Firewalls (FTD on ASA5525-x, FTD on Firepower 2130, firewall 3120 Threat Defense, Firepower 1120 with FTD, firewall 3110 Threat Defense) ANS Cloud Firewalls. Very knowledgeable of managing Cisco Meraki switches is a plus. Experience implementing and deploying NGFW solutions based on industry best practices, ensuring high levels of security, availability – Required – 10 Years Experience designing, configuring, and maintaining IPSEC VPN tunnels to establish secure communication channels – Required – 10 Years Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues related to VPN connectivity and performance – Required – 10 Years Experience implementing Virtual Routing and Forwarding (VRF) to enhance network segmentation and isolation – Required – 10 Years Experience configuring and managing Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) to facilitate efficient and scalable routing within the organization’s network infrastructure – Required – 10 Years Experience with FTD Firewalls – Required – 10 Years Experience with ANS Cloud Firewalls – Required – 10 Years Very knowledgeable of managing Cisco Meraki switches – Highly desired
