Coordinate with operations to support the needs of the plant Knowledge and experience applying and interpreting results from common electrical measurement instruments (voltmeter, ammeter, ohmmeter, etc.) Active participant in the HRP program Maintains equipment proactively to ensure operational efficiency Customer focus Knowledge to troubleshoot and calibrate process control equipment Troubleshoots and uses problem-solving skills to identify and repair root causes of equipment failure Collaborates and coordinates closely with operations to meet productivity requirements Responds to call-in requests and works unscheduled hours as needed Team
Reports to: E/I Maintenance Supervisor Team: Maintenance Technicians Required Experience
Associate degree required with preference given to electrical and instrumentation fields OR High School diploma or equivalent education with a Work Keys score of 4 or higher in Locating Information and Applied Technology Electrical and instrumentation maintenance experience in a chemical plant or other industrial facility preferred PLC or DCS skills and experience, along with HART SMART instrumentation, is a plus Required Skills
Ability to read, create, and markup electrical drawings and loop sheets Knowledge and experience maintaining and troubleshooting electrical control systems and control loops Knowledge and experience in installing, calibrating and troubleshooting instrumentation Knowledge and experience with control loops and distributed control systems (DCS) Ability to complete multiple tasks accurately and with minimum supervision Basic computer skills (MS Windows, MS Office, Workday, etc.) Knowledge of various control valves, flowmeters, transmitters, pH/conductivity meters and interlocks Knowledge and experience with testing/troubleshooting control loops using Fluke 744/754 calibrators and Hart Trex, 475, or Meriam communicators Knowledge of AMS and Wireless technology is a plus Internal candidates: You must be in your current role for one calendar year to qualify to transfer Seniority level
