System Administrator III
for a
future funded role
who provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems. Responsibilities
Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution Provide support for day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remain involved in the resolution process Configure and manage Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems and install/load operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity and configure network components Implement operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance Support the design of systems, mission architecture and associated hardware Possess a working knowledge of system administration interdependencies within a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Analyze and resolve complex problems related to server hardware, applications and software integration Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in a technical discipline and ten (10) years of system administration experience or fifteen (15) years of experience in lieu of degree Position requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph level clearance; US citizenship is required Additional Information
The pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guaranteed compensation. Our offer considers factors including contracted rates, education, certification(s), experience, competencies required for this position, and geographic location. Vibrint\'s comprehensive compensation package includes competitive salary; annual merit-based increases and discretionary bonuses; 401(k) with company contribution; 11 paid federal holidays; 160 hours of paid time off; medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; employee assistance program; and a professional development allowance.
