System Administrator II
for a
future funded role
who provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems. The role manages IT system infrastructure and processes related to these systems, providing day-to-day operations support, monitoring and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices and related technologies. It includes Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution, and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. The position also supports the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process. It involves configuring and managing Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems and installing/loading operating system software, troubleshooting, maintaining integrity, and configuring network components to improve reliability and performance. Position requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance. US citizenship is required. Responsibilities
Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems Provide support for day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices Provide escalation communication to agency management and internal customers Support the dispatch system and hardware problems and stay involved in resolution Configure and manage Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems and install/load OS software; troubleshoot and maintain network component integrity; implement OS enhancements to improve reliability and performance Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning Provide in-depth troubleshooting experience and detailed analysis for escalated tickets Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in a technical discipline and five (5) years of system administration experience or ten (10) years of experience in lieu of degree Security Clearance
Requires active TS/SCI with polygraph; US citizenship is required. Compensation and Benefits
The pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Our compensation offers consider factors such as contracted rates, education, certifications, experience, specific competencies for the position, and geographic location. Vibrint\'s compensation package includes, but is not limited to: competitive salary, annual merit-based increases and discretionary bonuses, 401(k) with company contribution, 11 paid federal holidays, 160 hours of paid time off, medical/dental/vision/life and disability insurance, employee assistance program, and a professional development allowance.
