Overview
A premier real estate private equity firm in West Palm Beach is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join its expanding team. This individual will be responsible for day-to-day fund accounting across multiple investment vehicles, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and compliance while serving as a key point of contact for investor deliverables.
Responsibilities
Manage accounting functions for several fund entities using
Yardi .
Reconcile daily bank transactions and oversee cash management.
Handle loan compliance related to fund credit facilities.
Drive quarterly closes: prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
Draft and distribute investor communications (capital calls, distributions, statements, and letters).
Calculate management fees, carried interest waterfalls, promotes, and preferred returns.
Maintain investor records and respond to investor requests.
Coordinate and support external audits.
Contribute to financial analysis, process improvements, and system implementations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (Accounting or Finance required; Master’s preferred).
3–6 years of relevant experience in public or private accounting.
Strong command of
GAAP (Fair Value Accounting)
and financial reporting.
Advanced Excel skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with
Yardi
strongly preferred.
Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and adaptability.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Employment details This is a full-time role (four days onsite, one remote) offering a competitive base salary up to $120,000, a bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package.
