A leading real estate private equity firm, based in West Palm Beach, FL, is actively seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join its dynamic fund accounting team. This role manages the daily accounting operations and financial reporting for multiple real estate private equity funds, while supporting investor compliance and communication. Maintain general ledgers for multiple fund entities using Yardi software Monitor daily bank activity, record cash transactions, and perform bank reconciliations Support quarterly close processes, including journal entry preparation and financial statement generation Prepare and distribute quarterly and annual financial reports, capital statements, investor communications, and supporting documentation Manage calculations for capital calls, distributions, and management fees Prepare carried interest waterfalls, preferred returns, and promote calculations Respond to investor-level data requests and complete quarterly investor questionnaires Contribute to ad hoc financial analysis, special projects, and system implementations Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or Finance (required) 2–5 years of experience in public or private accounting (real estate or fund accounting preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook Strong understanding of Fair Value GAAP Accounting and financial reporting standards Experience with Yardi software is a plus Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to work independently Compensation
