Tax Accountant - Join a High-Energy CPA Firm! Location: La Verne, CA (100% Onsite). Schedule: Jan - Dec (non-peak): M-Th, 4/10 schedule; Feb - Apr (Tax Season): M-F, 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM (most days). Type: Direct Hire. This position is in a fast-paced, client-facing environment with a fun, collaborative office culture. Prepare and apply tax laws to individual, S-Corp, C-Corp, Partnerships, LLCs tax returns Conduct tax research and advise clients on tax strategies Review work for compliance and accuracy Mentor junior staff on tax principles and client service Directly engage with clients - building relationships and providing exceptional service Handle admin tasks as needed (phones, scheduling, filing, assembly, etc.) Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - REQUIRED Minimum 3 years' experience in public CPA firm working with taxes - REQUIRED Strong tenure and proven track record of stability Must be comfortable presenting to clients and working directly with them Excellent attention to detail in a high-volume environment Bookkeeping experience welcomed - willing to train on tax for the right candidate Team player with strong communication skills Why You'll Love It Here
