Responsibilities

Lead analytical projects designing and implementing new tariffs, data collection efforts and reporting to promote electrification, decarbonization and customer equity. Serve as a lead in analytical, project management, and advisory responsibilities for shaping advanced rate designs through rulemaking and ratemaking proceedings, including oversight of implementation of new tariffs and programs for residential and non-residential classes. Develop and implement pricing strategies, data collection efforts and evaluation tools that promote affordability, electrification, decarbonization and grid efficiency and reliability. Coordinate with Administrative Law Judges and Commissioners as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

Permanent Senior Public Utilities Regulatory Analyst (PURA V—Electric Rates) responsibilities include leading analytical, project management, and advisory work and interagency coordination. Lead development and implementation of pricing strategies and data-driven evaluation tools supporting electrification and decarbonization efforts. Work closely with the assigned Administrative Law Judge and the Commissioners’ offices; interagency communication as needed.

Special Requirements

The position requires a valid California Driver's License (CDL). You must answer the CDL questions in your application and provide CDL number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements/restrictions.
