POSITION OPENING – Network Administrator SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Director of Information Technology, the Network Administrator performs the necessary duties to provide maximum service to the cooperative\'s employees by fulfilling all assigned responsibilities with the use of hardware/software tools provided in a timely and efficient manner. To all extents and in conjunction with managed service provider(s), manage GVP wireless and LAN network environments, including GVP switches, routers, hubs, firewall, WLAN, LAN, and VPNs. Apply all firmware updates to network equipment in a timely manner. Perform server administration including hardware upgrades, troubleshooting/repair, OS, Disk, RAID configurations, and available space. Apply firmware and software patches in a timely manner. Provide desktop support which includes setup, software installations, and patch maintenance. Maintain documentation for GVP I.T. assets including network connectivity diagrams, server and desktop asset tags, serial numbers, warranty information, and support contacts. Support Microsoft 365 licenses, user accounts, mailbox administration, and help users with Office applications. Set up and monitor backup jobs and scripts for all GVP servers and critical desktop machines for onsite and offsite storage. Test server and desktop restores on a quarterly basis. Configure, maintain, and upgrade virtual server software as needed. Configure and support mobile device management applications to facilitate security and document sharing on GVP mobile devices. Support and maintain GVP building surveillance and access control hardware and applications. Serve as a contact for GVP printer issues and work with printer service vendor to schedule repairs. Work with managed security service provider (SkyHelm) to install, update, and monitor cyber detection and intrusion prevention applications on GVP network devices and hosts. If detected, support malware remediation process according to SkyHelm processes and, if necessary, following the GVP incident response plan. Implement network access based on GVP policies, procedures, and industry best practices. Support iVUE operational areas including but not limited to iVUE account access issues, supporting the automated locate process and troubleshooting and remediating iVUE server performance issues. Maintain data integrity and cleanup across various data sources, including on-premises and cloud-based file repositories. Training of end users on various applications. Share off-hours on-call for I.T. and building access related issues on a rotating schedule. Pay is based on several factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Starting salary range: $90,000-$105,000 Benefits

A bachelor\'s degree in a computer field and three years of experience in network and system administration required. Hands-on experience with resolving various network connectivity issues for local and remote users, including TCP/IP knowledge and skills. Experience with problem resolution and software applications, including but not limited to Microsoft server and desktop OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory or Hybrid networks, virtual system administration, NAS and SAN solutions, backup and data security applications. Familiarity with cyber security attack and remediation strategies and malware detection/elimination. Good communication and listening skills, and a commitment to quality resolutions.
