Responsibilities

Leads supplier improvement from supplier provided product problems through improvement of supplier processes linked to TBS tools. Embrace Ingersoll Rand Business Systems (TBS) and Conscious Company tools to accomplish duties and drive continuous improvements. SWI for quality testing and employ 5 Why’s when a material is found to be faulty Utilize ISO SCAR’s and PAR’s with suppliers to have quality materials delivered to Ingersoll Rand Utilize Red Dots for opportunity when evaluating finished goods Coordinate and administer Quality Certification Programs. Coordinate internal audit process to ensure ISO quality certification is sustained. Coordinate third party, customer audits, and specific project quality requirements. Maintain and execute internal gauge calibration program. Drives supplier continuous improvement through Cause and Corrective Actions on Supplier Corrective Action Report. Maintain and communicate report card to suppliers. Support inspection and recording for product development projects. Train others in problem solving. Model the behavior of a Conscious Leader by applying the learning from the Radical Leadership Retreats and living the values each day. Demonstrates excellence in completion of all other duties as assigned. Lead CI activities to improve the efficiency of the metrology lab. Monitor quality performance for supplier’s inbound material Monitor quality performance for finished goods for customer deliveries Monitor costs and impact of inferior quality from suppliers, write SCAR’s and monitor for improvement Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in quality management Manufacturing environment experience, with hands-on use of gauges such as:

optical comparators, calipers, micrometers, and/or microscopes

Experience with operating a

CMM , including running existing programs and creating new ones for precision measurement Knowledge of and experience with

PPAP

documentation and submission requirements Good problem-solving skills and facilitation Deep knowledge of quality processes and evaluation Engaging and inviting style for a highly motivated supplier base Basic computer skills with experience in Microsoft Excel and Word. General knowledge of ISO procedures. Core Competencies

Basic understanding of assembly methods. Basic understanding of blueprints and other documents that define product specification. Basic understanding of root cause analysis (5W1H, 5 Whys, Fishbone, etc.) ISO Internal Audit Travel and Work Arrangements
