Regional Sales Manager – Flooring Division (Southwest Region)

We are seeking an experienced
Regional Sales Manager
to lead and grow sales in the
Southwest Region
for the company’s flooring products division. This is a
hands-on leadership role
responsible for managing independent sales representatives, strengthening distributor and dealer partnerships, and driving demand among builders, architects, remodelers, and installers. The selected candidate will be based in
Texas
and will oversee sales activities throughout
Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi . Key Responsibilities
Manage, support, and motivate a network of independent sales representatives to achieve and exceed regional sales goals.
Develop strategic business plans for distributor partners and monitor performance, providing corrective action as needed.
Build and manage target lists of key dealers, architects, builders, and installers to drive conversion and new business opportunities.
Conduct field sales calls with distributor and dealer representatives to increase brand visibility and strengthen relationships.
Provide product and installation training for distributor and dealer teams, as well as on-site demonstrations for end users.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding products, applications, and availability.
Generate, track, and coordinate sales leads through distributor and rep networks.
Participate in regional and national trade shows to promote products and foster new relationships.
Keep leadership informed on market trends, competitor activity, and changes within key accounts or distribution networks.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
5–10 years of experience
in the
flooring or installation materials industry , preferably within the Southwest region.
Proven ability to manage and grow distribution and dealer relationships.
Established network within
tile, flooring, or installation products distribution .
Self-motivated and capable of working independently while meeting and exceeding performance targets.
Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Must reside in a major metro area in
Texas
(Dallas or Houston preferred).
Willingness to travel
50–75%
throughout the region.
