Contract Responsibilities
Partner with HSE Leadership and site Leadership to drive sustainable HSE Programs. Ensure HSE & Fire Protection compliance, including personnel training and permit management. Maintain plant federal, state, and local permits (e.g., city, county). Manage sprinkler systems, fire and alarm systems in partnership with Plant Engineer. Handle environmental responsibilities such as wastewater permits, Tier 2 reporting, SWP3, SPCC, recycling, hazardous waste disposal, and government inspections. Lead safety initiatives including audits, incident investigations, gemba walks, pre-startup reviews, and safety training (e.g., LOTO, Fall Protection). Other Responsibilities
Use Microsoft Office for correspondence, data analysis, and reporting. Assist with contractor safety orientations and sign-ins. Participate in Safety Community of Practice forums. Support capital projects and other business needs. Requirements
Associates degree or 4 years' experience required. EHS training or equivalent (OSHA 30, DOT, RCRA, etc.). 2-4 years manufacturing experience. Bachelor's Degree in HSE or related field. OSHA Safety Training Certification (e.g., 501 & 511). Current First Aid / CPR / AED certification. Knowledge of Environmental Standards (EPA, RCRA, Tier II, Permitting). Leadership and influencing skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to manage multiple tasks independently. Benefits
