Social Work Professor (Tenure Track, Assistant/Associate Professor) in Social Work Policy . Position Summary:
The Wurzweiler School of Social Work, established in 1957 and known for its academic excellence, is seeking a PhD Director and faculty member to provide academic and administrative leadership, along with teaching responsibilities in the Ph.D. program. The position is located in New York, NY, with an effective start date of Summer or Fall 2025. Responsibilities include: Providing academic direction and leadership for the Ph.D. program Recruiting new students Chairing the Ph.D. faculty committee Supervising staff and overseeing curriculum Managing program assessment and ensuring compliance with regulations Collaborating with university units and faculty Teaching in the Ph.D. program and mentoring students and faculty Engaging in scholarly research and publication Qualifications: Ph.D. in Social Work or related field Strong research and publication record Experience in doctoral education and academic leadership Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Application Requirements:
Letter of intent, CV, two recommendation letters, and a writing sample. Salary Range:
