Candidate Profile

Ideal applicants will have: B.S. or M.S. in environmental engineering or closely related field. Strong background in microbial genomics, sequencing (next-generation and long-read), bioinformatics, DNA/RNA extraction, and RT-qPCR. Experience with microbial culture and waste treatment using various reactor configurations. Familiarity with analytical methods (HPLC, GC-MS, LC-MS/MS) and data analysis using machine learning. Demonstrated research experience and publication record. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; passion for scientific research and environmental sustainability.
