Provide overall project management direction on a wide variety of environmental projects, some with construction aspects. Personal initiative and critical thinking skills are essential to complete job duties with minimal guidance. The position is deadline-driven. Project managers must be able to set priorities, take ownership of projects, work efficiently, and provide a consistent level of high quality in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. Project managers must demonstrate innovation, excellent communication skills, and a high level of customer service.
Base pay range $111,481.00/yr - $162,539.00/yr
This position comes with a competitive and comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, a 401(k) plan with a 3% match, paid time off (PTO), company-paid holidays, and an annual performance bonus.
The ideal candidate will reside in Alaska; however, this could be a telecommute position in the Pacific Northwest region, including Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and northern California.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Geology, or Physical/Environmental Sciences
Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record, able to drive a company vehicle
Experience with Federal and State contracting
Must be a citizen of the United States of America
Ability to pass background checks by various Federal Agencies (e.g., DoD, DHS, FAA, etc.) to obtain security access badges
Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc., and their impact on project activities
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint Online
Adept at explaining technical aspects of fieldwork to internal and external clients verbally and in writing
Level - II
Three (3) to Five (5) years of project management experience, specialized training, and/or an advanced degree such as MS may be substituted for work experience.
Professional registration (e.g., PG, PMP, PE).
Level – Senior
Five (5) to Seven (7) years of project management experience, specialized training, and/or an advanced degree such as MS may be substituted for work experience.
Professional registration (e.g., PG, PMP, PE).
