Base pay range: $21.78/hr - $31.08/hr Overview
The Endpoint Support Technician I provides technical support services for desktop computers, laptop computers, printers, tablets, monitors, scanners, and other peripheral devices. Services include device deployment, software installation, testing network connections, troubleshooting, and repairs. The technician supports Apple products and equipment needed for the hospital’s operations, with service requests tracked in service management software. The position is based at Newton-Wellesley Hospital’s main campus and may support on-site and off-site locations. Responsibilities
Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, tablets, monitors, scanners, and other peripherals. Deploy devices, install software, test network connections, troubleshoot, and repair equipment. Support Apple products and other equipment necessary for hospital operations. Document and track service requests using service management software. Travel to off-site locations as needed for projects or support (travel reimbursed at MGB standard rate). Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s Degree in related field preferred. Licenses and Credentials: Experience in customer service and IT support; 1-2 years preferred; experience in related technical field 0-1 year preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Proficient with Microsoft Windows; strong troubleshooting and problem-solving; excellent written and verbal communication; outstanding customer service and organizational skills; ability to multi-task and prioritize; detail-oriented and adaptable in fast-paced environments. Working hours: M-F 8:00 to 4:30; 40 hours/week; onsite Work location: 2014 Washington Street Remote Type: Onsite Travel: May require off-site support with proportional travel reimbursement Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required in certain areas and will be trained prior to use Additional Details
