AP Physics 1 Tutor role with Varsity Tutors. Remote, flexible online tutoring with the opportunity to work with students who need help in AP Physics 1. Responsibilities
Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring to individual students. Accept on-demand tutoring requests when available. Format and tailor lessons to the student’s learning style and needs. What We Look For In a Tutor
Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style. Expertise in AP Physics 1 and the ability to explain concepts clearly. Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles. Priority given to those with tutoring experience, teaching experience, and graduate-level education. Compensation and Schedule
Base contract rates start at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects. You’ll earn incrementally higher pay for each session with the same student—reaching up to $40/hour. Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice. Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like. Tutor remotely using our Live Learning Platform—no commuting required. Get matched with students best-suited to your teaching style and expertise. AI-powered Tutor Copilot enhances sessions with real-time support and engagement features to save prep time and focus on teaching.
