Hair Lecturer – 37 hours per week – up to £38,186.75 (dependent on skills, experience and qualifications). Based between Weybridge and Ashford, Surrey.

Hair and Beauty offer a variety of courses for learners across Level 1 to L3, with the learner range from age 14-19 through to adult education.

About the role As Hair Lecturer you will work as part of a team within the department delivering a range of high‑quality courses, providing qualification and progression opportunities for all learners, within the curriculum area. Your role will include:

Teach on a programme of appropriate courses

Assess, review and record learner progress

Maintain course and learner records

Embed employment skills into the curriculum courses

Qualifications

Degree/HND or equivalent vocational professional qualification

Certificate in Education or willingness to gain such qualification

Level 2 in English and Maths

Evidence of on‑going professional development

Assessor or Verifier qualified – a distinct advantage
