Associate/Full Professor - Faculty - Radiology, Translational Biomedical Imaging Research

The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center are seeking tenure-track faculty in translational biomedical imaging research at the rank of Associate Professor or Full Professor. The position emphasizes leadership of an independent translational imaging research program with a focus on MRI and/or molecular imaging applications in neuroscience. Rank and startup package are commensurate with academic record and experience. Duties and Responsibilities

Successful candidates are expected to develop and lead an independent research program and participate in translating novel imaging technologies into clinical practice. Responsibilities include securing external grant funding, mentoring trainees, and collaborating with investigators across the College of Medicine and the university. Requirements

Senior level appointment requires an established history of research accomplishment with active grants. Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Physics, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related discipline, or an equivalent terminal degree. Research interests in translational research in MRI and/or molecular imaging applications in neuroscience. Strong potential for external funding and collaborative scholarship.
