Advance an externally funded program of research in substance use disorders. Publish research in high quality peer reviewed journals. Mentor trainees across levels of academic development. Participate in division, department, college and university committees and initiatives. Develop, lead, or substantially contribute to research, education, and clinical programs within the Addiction Program. Qualifications
Applicants must have an advanced degree (M.D., Ph.D.) with specialization in Psychiatry or Clinical Psychology from an accredited program and training pathways aligned with licensure and clinical practice in the State of Ohio. In some cases, individuals with substantial research programs and funding but without clinical training or eligibility may be considered (e.g., Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuroscience or similar), provided they are actively interested in training clinical professionals and supporting clinical care. Salary and benefits are highly competitive. About the Program and Institution
The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (OSUWMC) Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health is seeking faculty members (open rank) to join the Addiction Program and enhance the research mission. The department notes a rapid growth in research faculty and projects across neuromodulation, neurocomputation, interventional psychiatry, personalized medicine, and related areas.
