Position Summary

The

Systems Engineer (Mobile) ‐ US

will impact the organization by being the frontline technical voice of the customer ensuring customer requirements are developed and road mapped in Casa Systems’ products involving 3G+LTE small cell solutions, service provider Wi‑Fi, mobile packet core, security, and virtualization solutions, mobile market segment within the United States region. Key Responsibilities

Responsible for supporting Proof of Concept, Customer Field Trial, and customer production sites Work with customers during detailed design phase of a project and develop customer required documentation such as CIQ, HLD, LLD Perform hands‑on work supporting technical lab trial, solution demo, customer field trial and customer production deployments Duties include executing customer acceptance plan at casa lab, customer lab or in the field and assist in troubleshooting Provide subject matter knowledge in the areas of virtualized 4G/5G mobile packet core, security, and LTE small cell solutions Responsible for analyzing, troubleshooting, and documenting issues reported from casa labs, customer labs and customer production systems. Work closely with customers, and casa test and development team Aid casa development team and customer in product & feature performance compliance analysis Develop and execute Test Cases and MOPs for different Software Releases to the customer As required, relay customer requirements with account System Architect. Required Knowledge, Skills, Education & Experience

Undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, computer science/engineering, or equivalent technical 2 - 4 years of related systems engineer Hands‑on experience working on 4G/5G packet core network functions such as MME, SAEGW, PCRF, AMF, SMF, UPF, NRF, NSSF, HSS, UDR, UDM, SeGW, and/or HeNB‑GW. 1+ years of CORE Network Virtualization knowledge/experience, with Kubernetes, Dockers, Openstack, Experience with telecom application protocols such as S1AP/SCTP, NGAP/SCTP, GTPv2, Diameter, PFCP, IPsec, Some familiarity with routing protocols such as BGP and Troubleshooting experience using command‑line tools and Some hands‑on experience with Linux/Ubuntu/CentOS Able to live Casa's core values: fun work environment, innovation & risk taking; passion, dedication & perseverance; and honesty and Able and willing to travel during the Able to pass pre‑employment background check and drug test.
