Position: Tech Support/ Core Network Engineer

Location: Onsite – Memphis, TN

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Customer Support Engineer (Core Networks) to work onsite in Memphis, TN. The ideal candidate will have recent hands‑on experience (within the past 2 years) working with

Nokia or Ericsson Core Network nodes (EPC, IMS, 5GC)

and a strong background in

4G/5G Core Network operations, troubleshooting, and containerized network environments .

Key Responsibilities

Provide first‑level troubleshooting and response for anomalies in Core Network elements.

Raise and track support tickets with Nokia or Ericsson Care for unresolved issues.

Support network activities, migrations, and upgrades on behalf of the customer.

Prepare and review MOPs (Methods of Procedure) for core‑related tasks.

Participate in

ORT/ATP (Operational Readiness Testing / Acceptance Testing) .

Deliver incident and KPI reports as required by the Statement of Work (SOW).

Core Expertise Required

Strong hands‑on experience with Nokia EPC, IMS, and 5GC nodes.

Deep understanding of 4G and 5G core interfaces and protocols for data and voice services.

Experience with Kubernetes and containerized network function (CNF) operations and management.

Solid operational and maintenance (O&M) experience in the following:

MME, SPGW, AMF, SMF, UPF, NRF

PCRF, HSS, PCF, UDM, AUSF, UDR

CSCF, TAS, SBC, MRF

Preferred (Nice‑to‑Have) Skills

Experience with CMM, CMG, and APC nodes (PCRF, HSS, PCF, UDM, AUSF, UDR).

Familiarity with Nokia EVC.

O&M experience on Nokia CMU platform (CNF mode) via CLI and CMU GUI.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or related field (or equivalent experience).

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Core Network Operations and Support.

Recent Nokia/Ericsson/Samsung hands‑on experience (within 2 years) is mandatory.
