Duties and Responsibilities A typical day may include:
The primary responsibility of the position is to perform controller testing and troubleshooting of elevator control systems comprised of digital and analog circuits, and microprocessor-controlled logic.
Tests a variety of electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical components on electronic systems.
Validate that the control system is in compliance with general functional specifications and with contract-specific requirements.
Diagnose malfunctions of circuitry, components or parts and determine methods or actions necessary to repair controller.
Log failure data and repair results.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications We are searching for a candidate with:
Associate in electrical or electronics principles or equivalent experience.
2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment experience preferred.
Elevator industry experience is a plus but not required.
Must have the ability to read and understand electrical schematics, test parameters.
Analytical and troubleshooting skills with electronic principles.
Use multi-meters, circuit testers, and other test equipment.
Manual dexterity and good hand eye coordination.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent team player.
Ability to meet physical job demand and always work safely.
Position Details
Job Status: Full Time
Shift: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Monday - Friday
Location: Sacramento
Benefits
Salary Range for Sacramento-based Applicants: $20 - $24 per hour (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and in keeping with local legislation).
