Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
3–5+ years in production engineering, manufacturing, or project management (experience in hydraulic pump systems and/or elevator, automotive, or industrial equipment manufacturing preferred).
Proficiency with CAD (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent).
Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.
Background in process improvement, lean principles, and root cause analysis.
Knowledge of motor control systems and integration of hydraulic to electronic systems.
Strong leadership and project management abilities.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Clear and professional communication skills (written & verbal).
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities A typical day may include:
Designing and supporting the production of submersible hydraulic power units and elevator controller integrations.
Creating assembly/manufacturing drawings, wiring diagrams, and production requirements.
Developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve throughput, on-time delivery, and reduce scrap/rework.
Providing daily production support with engineering guidance to resolve technical issues.
Monitoring KPIs and leading corrective actions when targets are not met.
Managing project data consolidation, change orders, and production-related timelines.
Partnering with supply chain and vendors to qualify components, improve manufacturability, and reduce costs.
Overseeing testing, validation, and compliance with codes, safety, and regulatory standards.
Supporting customer inquiries and field issues with technical expertise.
Maintaining documentation including work instructions, CAD drawings, BOMs, and test reports.
Participating in lean/continuous improvement initiatives and audits.
