As an
account manager
you will be responsible for the coordination, management and execution of merchandising projects across multiple clients. Though the role’s responsibilities are wide ranging and ever changing, this predominantly includes facilitation and oversight of the design, manufacture, sale and fulfilment of product, as well as the coordination of merchandise for artist tours, retail sales, events, pop-ups and ecommerce opportunities. What you'll do:
Receive specific Key Indicators (KPIs) for each managed account, tasked with meeting and exceeding expectations to foster Performance account growth. Demonstrate effective communication with internal team members by proactively setting timelines, maintaining clear and concise communication channels, and fostering a positive work environment through collaboration and support. Lead the planning and forecasting process for assigned accounts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with overall business objectives, and regularly review and adjust forecasts based on market trends, client feedback, and internal performance metrics. Develop, refine, and extend a comprehensive 12-18 month roadmap for each managed account, ensuring alignment with client objectives and company strategy. Provide timely responses to internal team members & client inquiries within a 24-hour window via email, teams, or text, ensuring prompt and effective communication. Dedicated to implementing and refining processes aimed at minimizing errors and mitigating potential issues that could lead to customer dissatisfaction or revenue loss for the company. Who you are:
3-5 years experience in merchandising, sales or brand management, or equivalent experience in a lateral industry (artist management, booking agency or record label) Excellent communicator with the ability to prepare and confidently present business plans, strategic insights, and difficult news to internal and external stakeholders Experience in an apparel production environment, including an ability to effectively communicate with factories and manage production process with XFN partners. First-hand tour or merchandise sale experience, as well as experience in advancing merchandise and partnering with venues and venue staff. Familiarity with D2C strategies, including a basic understanding of Shopify platform Proven experience in a role that required strict confidentiality, outstanding organizational skills, and ability to maintain composure and effectiveness in stressful situations Proven track record of successfully managing demanding client relationships and delivering results against aggressive growth targets Strategic thinker who can see the big picture as well as the small details required to win.
