Manager Overview

Role purpose: To manage the B2B business (Bakery and Ingredients). Responsibilities include close monitoring, distribution expansion, and infrastructure development to drive business growth. Main Accountabilities

Expand distribution network by appointing sales personnel to cover uncovered Bakers. Drive bakery conversion by arranging trials. Expand the product range among Bakers purchasing Bakery Fats, Ingredients & Margarines. Set up cold chain distribution for Whip topping products. Develop the market to achieve year-on-year growth for the next 3–5 years. Impact/Dimensions

Will supervise third party employees. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Drive automation by using SFA and DMS. Achieve annual volume on a monthly/quarterly basis. Volume growth in Bakery and Ingredients year over year. Reduce expiry stock to zero. Maintain SFA usage hygiene; track number of customer visits per month, outlet additions, and Focus SKU volume. Major Opportunities and Decisions

Handle rate changes in a dynamic market; control secondary sales with prevailing rates. Deploy the technical team effectively and leverage their efforts. Management/Leadership

Maintain control of the secondary market and competitors’ activities. Strong market knowledge and team management skills. Basic baking knowledge related to fats and ingredients. Team player with strong product and territory knowledge and excellent communication. Strong analytical ability to interpret data and guide the team toward desired business results. Key Relationships, Stakeholders & Interfaces

Distributors, super stockists, C&FA, Logistics Team, etc. Good market relations; effective communication with support functions, Top Management, and Marketing Team. Timely reporting. Knowledge and Technical Competencies

Knowledge of Fats & Ingredients. Basic technical knowledge. Conduct trials with Bakers for conversions with Technical team support. Note: For behavior competencies please refer to the Bunge Leadership Model. Education/Experience

Graduate, with technical application-based knowledge to convert customers. 5 years of relevant work experience in Fats & Ingredients. Proficient in local language and Hindi; good in English writing and speaking.
