As Our Sous Chef Italian Specialty, You Will
Showcase your expertise in Italian cuisine, including regional dishes, traditional techniques, and modern interpretations of classic Italian recipes. Lead the Italian specialty kitchen in the preparation and presentation of authentic Italian dishes, ensuring the highest standards of quality, flavor, and presentation. Collaborate with the Executive Chef and culinary team to develop seasonal Italian menus that showcase the best of Italian ingredients, flavors, and culinary traditions. Mentor and train kitchen staff in Italian cooking techniques, flavor profiles, and plating presentations to uphold the authenticity and creativity of the resort’s Italian offerings. Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control, cost management, and quality assurance, to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Qualifications
A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Italian cuisine, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role as a Sous Chef or similar position specializing in Italian cuisine. Proficiency in a wide range of Italian dishes, from antipasti to dolci, with a deep understanding of Italian ingredients, flavors, and cooking methods. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor a diverse culinary team. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
