to join our team as a Sales Account Manager in our
Richmond, VA
location. Our Sales Account Managers are responsible for growing our business with new and existing customers . They match customer needs with our broad product portfolio, supported by our digital tools, network of technical experts, specialized market expertise, and global distribution network.
What You’ll Do
Consultative Selling: Cultivate strong relationships with our customers by managing and growing accounts.
Sales Prospecting: Find new opportunities, win new business, and grow the territory.
Customer Experience Advocate: Collaborate with internal teams to deliver top-tier service, technical support, safe and innovative solutions to our customers.
Portfolio Management: Prioritize selling time and results to effectively manage your sales funnel and territory. Be relentless to win back lost customers.
What You’ll Need
Up to 2 years of sales or customer facing experience in a similar role within the B2B sales environment with a demonstrated track record of success in building relationships and achieving sales targets.
Self-directed, outcome-focused with initiative, decisiveness, and consistent results.
Strong listening skills and curiosity, with a passion for learning about customer needs, solving problems, and winning business.
Ability to plan and prepare for effective sales calls, make persuasive presentations, handle objections, negotiate, demonstrate value, and close deals.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
