We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Solar Energy Consultant to join our growing sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating leads, providing information to potential customers, and closing sales to help homeowners and businesses transition to renewable energy. You will educate clients on the benefits of solar energy and the financial savings associated with installing solar panels. Duties and Responsibilities: The essential functions include, but are not limited to: Prospecting new sales leads through face-to-face and door-to-door interactions. Meeting with prospective clients in the field to close deals by presenting tailored solar solutions. Replicating effective sales strategies, approaches, and scripts to ensure consistent client experiences. Providing excellent customer service to all prospects and clients. Completing tasks assigned by leadership and meeting sales targets. Managing daily reports and using designated applications for work management. Maintaining a professional demeanor with prospects, clients, and colleagues. Explaining products and services clearly or connecting clients with appropriate team members. Generating leads and following up with prospects using company tools. Overcoming objections to close sales and following up on sales opportunities. Building a network for additional revenue through referrals. Qualifying homeowners for solar solutions and scheduling consultations. Representing Sol-Up with professionalism, integrity, and passion. Adhering to safety, quality, and workplace standards and reporting unsafe conditions. Complying with all applicable laws and regulations. Performing other duties as assigned. Requirements

Job Qualifications: 2-3 years of proven sales experience with a record of achieving targets. Ability to obtain or possess a California Home Improvement Sales License. Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and discipline. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Proficient in using technology and software tools. Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and legal work authorization in the U.S. Physical Requirements: Lift or carry up to 30 pounds as needed. Access all work areas physically, with or without accommodations. Prolonged sitting, walking, standing, and working outdoors or indoors in various environmental conditions. Compensation: $40,000 - $200,000+ commission-based earnings, based on sales performance. Estimated gross earnings of $120,000 annually based on 48 transactions per year. Position classified as 1099 independent contractor. Schedule: Full-time, with responsibilities fulfilled consistently based on business needs.
