We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Solar Energy Consultant to join our growing sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating leads, providing information to potential customers, and closing sales to help homeowners and businesses transition to renewable energy. You will educate clients on the benefits of solar energy and the financial savings associated with installing solar panels. Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to:
Effectively prospect new sales leads through face-to-face and door-to-door interactions.
Meet with prospective clients in the field to close deals with homeowners by presenting tailored solar products.
Replicate successful sales strategies, approaches, scripts, and methods to ensure consistent client experiences and maximum results.
Ensure each prospective client has a positive experience with Sol-Up.
Attend and complete tasks assigned by leadership.
Meet sales targets set by the Operations / Sales Manager.
Complete daily reports, area sheets, and responsibilities.
Use designated applications to manage job functions.
Maintain a professional and pleasant disposition with prospects, clients, and team members.
Explain products and services effectively or connect clients with the appropriate team member.
Generate leads and follow up with prospects using our tools and resources.
Overcome objections to close deals.
Follow up on pipeline and sales opportunities.
Generate revenue through networking and referrals.
Assist homeowners in qualifying and transitioning to clean energy.
Schedule free solar consultations for homeowners.
Represent Sol-Up with professionalism, integrity, and passion.
Follow safety, quality, and workplace standards.
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions.
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
2-3 years of proven sales experience with a record of achieving targets.
Ability to obtain or possess a California Home Improvement Sales License.
Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and discipline.
Ability to build rapport with clients.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Proficient with software and technology tools.
Valid driver’s license with a good record and reliable transportation.
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Physical Requirements:
Lift up to 30 pounds unassisted.
Access all work areas physically or with accommodations.
Prolonged sitting, walking, standing, stretching, bending, and kneeling.
Work indoors and outdoors in various environmental conditions.

Compensation:
$40,000 - $200,000+ commissions, based on sales performance.
Estimated $120,000 gross earnings annually with 48 closed transactions.
1099 independent contractor status.
Schedule:
Full-time, with responsibilities based on business needs.
