To that end, we are seeking a highly-motivated, energetic individual to join our team. Responsibilities
Support Traders within the areas of customer service, and supplier relations Proactively manage order requirements from order entry through to completion. Including, creating customer and supplier contracts, and managing associated correspondence Order entry for Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals with an understanding of hedging Systems work including Invoicing / Crediting customers, processing supplier/vendor invoices, and broker confirmations Maintain Backlog and ensure accurate information is conveyed to management Assist with coordination of logistical and supply chain needs as related to orders (Inland and Sea) Handle import/export related documents and procedures Work in a team environment, communicating as required with all personnel Attend meetings with team members, as needed Take on additional duties and responsibilities, as needed Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or comparable experience Understand Base Metals or Commodity hedging and derivative process, and the risk factors involved Excellent written and verbal communication skills Solid computer skills Excellent time management and organization skills Basic understanding of market dynamics and the effect it has on our business Experience in logistics, customs, and supply chain Capability to work under pressure Benefits
