The opportunity: We are seeking an exceptional Intermediate Hydraulic Modeller to join our Digital Environments Group to: Deliver positive stormwater outcomes for clients, communities & the environment. Supporting the delivery of existing contracts and contributing to new project opportunities. Contributing to a reliable, resilient team that our clients can count on. Reports to: Digital Environments - Group Leader Direct reports (approx): 0 Primary work location: Wellington About you: Are you passionate about using water modelling to solve real-world challenges? Do you thrive on analysing complex catchment systems, urban flooding, and infrastructure networks to create better outcomes for communities? Are you motivated by turning data into decisions that protect people and the environment? If this sounds like you, we’d love to talk. We welcome candidates with track record in most or all the following: 4–6 years of relevant experience in hydraulic/flood modelling. Proficiency with tools such as ICM, TUFLOW, and MIKE, with flexibility to adapt to different platforms. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. An interest in spatial and environmental applications, with complementary skills in GIS, environmental analysis, or engineering viewed as an advantage. Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across disciplines and locations.
