We are recruiting an experienced, high‑performing Finance Manager to support Abbott’s Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) division in Sylmar, CA.

Finance Manager – Cardiac Rhythm Management This high‑visibility role is part of the CRM Division FP&A team. The Finance Manager will provide leadership oversight, coordination and planning to execute financial planning processes, ensuring timeliness, accuracy and integrity of financial information. Responsibilities include delivering analytics and business support to enable informed decision‑making by executive staff and senior leaders across the organization.

Responsibilities

Coordinate, consolidate and develop an annual plan, latest best estimate and other financial forecasts for all aspects of the CRM division income statement and balance sheet.

Manage the month‑end close process and reporting of monthly financial performance metrics.

Develop flexible, comprehensive tools and templates to support consolidation and timely completion of corporate schedules, and develop system solutions and process improvements that meet financial planning and reporting requirements.

Maintain an effective planning process for the division and functional areas, including the coordination of a planning calendar with key dates and deliverables.

Liaise between Division FP&A and various finance teams within CRM as well as Med Device HQ and Corporate FP&A.

Develop and maintain a financial organization that meets division and corporate requirements, including staff development, mentoring, performance management, engagement and recruiting.

Qualifications

BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or advanced education degree is preferred.

7+ years of combined experience in general accounting, cost accounting and FP&A.

Ability to operate independently with broad scope under minimal supervision and under challenging time constraints.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to all levels of the organization.

In‑depth knowledge of financial processes, accounting methodologies and division‑specific operations to lead complex planning processes and support related systems and functions.

Strong analytical, problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills, with demonstrated initiative.

Proficient in using financial planning tools, Excel and corporate financial systems.

Compensation Base pay: $112,000.00 – $224,000.00. Salary may vary by location. Location: Sylmar, CA.
