FSBU is recruiting an experienced Commercial Loan Officer to manage an existing loan portfolio and serve as a key member of our commercial lending team. Essential Functions
Service and maintain a large existing commercial loan portfolio. Actively seek and promote new commercial loans and bank product opportunities within the current loan portfolio and with new prospects. Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills, positively representing the bank’s image and brand to customers, industry professionals, community organizations, and local business groups. Effectively manage the current loan portfolio, obtaining updated financial/covenant information, evaluating credit conditions, repayment ability, and collateral position. Be familiar with all types of collateral and related legal requirements to secure commercial loans. Make frequent outside calls to clients and prospects. Be a team player that builds rapport within the bank and with customers, representing the bank’s 1907 legacy and its corporate mission, vision, and core values. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field and ten or more years of commercial lending experience (preferred). Proficiency with bank’s CORE loan and credit underwriting systems. Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, able to work well with all levels of the organization. Strong, accurate credit underwriting with equal financial and cash flow analytical skills. Able to work independently, multitask, adapt, prioritize, and think and act proactively.
