You’ll play a key role in guiding clients beyond tax season- helping them make smarter decisions, uncover savings opportunities, and plan for sustainable growth. Prepare business and individual tax returns, applying strong current knowledge of U.S. and SALT issues Serve as a primary contact for clients, gathering financial information and responding to inquiries from them and from taxing authorities like the IRS Perform tax research and contribute valuable ideas through our tax strategy process Participate, as you desire, in next-level advisory services to help businesses scale revenue, profits, cash flow, and freedom for the owner Collaborate with teammates to manage due dates and ensure smooth project flow Adapt and learn independently in a changing environment Support firm priorities, execution, and planning through team collaboration Serve clients and teammates with a positive, humble, and thankful spirit Qualifications
What We’re Looking For: Must-Haves: CPA or EA preferred; candidates actively working toward certification will also be considered Outgoing and comfortable working with clients 4+ years of progressive experience in a CPA firm tax department (but not Big 4) Strong technical skills across S corp, partnership, individual, and trust tax matters, including tax planning and strategy Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with excellent problem-solving, communication, and time management skills Experience working with small to medium-sized businesses and/or high-net-worth individuals Bonus Points For: Knowledge of CCH ProSystem fx or Axcess (not required) Interest in AI, automation, or modern workflow tools Interest in advisory or other services is highly valued by our business owners Compensation
$75,000-$105,000 per year
