Ashley Furniture Industries . Warehouse Quality Auditor NC What Will You Do? The Warehouse Quality Auditor will audit finished products and processes within the warehouse, log results, and communicate results to manufacturing and warehouse teams. This position will assist in coaching employees on the proper warehouse procedures to ensure that all expectations are met. This position requires each person to perform the job satisfactorily at a sustained level of productivity. Responsibilities: Perform daily audits within the warehouse, primarily within the warehouse processes, and record audit data. Inform employees of process non-compliance as identified by the audit process and coach them on the importance of process compliance to ensure quality and standardization expectations are met. Communicate issues and problems to supervisor when necessary; contact appropriate people to resolve identified issues. Compile audit data and/or inspection results and compare data. Generate charts, graphs, and reports when needed. Train and coach personnel on proper procedures for process. Answer quality questions and work with supervisors on quality issues when needed. Maintain reliable attendance. Actively participate in departmental meetings, training, and education. Assist with training other employees and providing backup. Complete other assignments and special projects as requested. Demonstrate the Company’s Core and Growth Values in performance of all job functions. Provide efficient service while performing duties. Direct team members to cart locations when requested. Maintain awareness of production floor safety and traffic patterns. Capability to walk, stand, and be active for extended periods. Manual dexterity to handle wood jigs and parts safely. Maintain 6S standards. Assist with the training of other employees as needed. Participate in team meetings and activities. Attend scheduled training sessions. Work as a member of a team. Suggest improvements on process inputs. Perform the job satisfactorily at a sustained level of productivity. Follow all OSHA and Company established safety rules and procedures. Must comply with attendance policies and procedures. Follow all standard operating procedures while working at assigned positions. Work effectively and communicate and relate well with others. Maintain effective and constructive working relationships. Demonstrate the Company’s Core and Growth Values in performance of all job functions. Perform all other duties as assigned by Supervisor. Flexibility for production schedule changes. What Do You Need? Education General High School coursework. Experience Prior Distribution/Manufacturing Experience preferred. Prior Quality Knowledge preferred. Licenses or Certifications None required. Knowledge, Skills Read, write, and comprehend the meaning of basic communications; Basic counting and math skills; Measure using English and Metric scales; Communicate and work with others; Ability to learn company’s basic computer systems; Operate inventory scanning device; Reliable; Punctual; Perform duties in compliance with company policies; Work with others as part of a team; Perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
