Job Details As a Permanent Tax Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in our dynamic Accounting + Finance team. This role involves managing tax compliance for high net worth individuals, estates, trusts, gifts, S-Corps, and partnerships, and providing strategic tax planning and client advisory services. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in the field is required.

Responsibilities

Supervise preparation and review of federal and state tax returns for individuals, trusts, gifts, partnerships, and S-Corps.

Provide tax planning and consulting to high net worth clients.

Manage, direct, and monitor multiple client engagements and act as a business advisor to clients.

Identify and mitigate tax risks.

Coordinate accounting staff and assess their performance.

Manage tax provision and tax compliance processes.

Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices.

Assist with tax audits and tax returns.

Prepare tax paperwork in accordance with regulations and deadlines.

Provide innovative tax planning and review complex income tax returns.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA, Enrolled Agent, or Bar membership is preferred.

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in public accounting or related field.

Proficient in tax compliance and planning for high net worth individuals, estates, trusts, gifts, S-Corps, and partnerships.

Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and tax preparation software.

Excellent analytical and time management skills; strong supervisory experience.

Exceptional client service and ability to develop client relationships.

Strong leadership and personnel management skills; attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; proficiency with tax software and related technology.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
