The Accounting Specialist will perform several accounting duties including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash transactions, account balancing, journal entries and various other finance responsibilities. Essential Functions
Responsible for full accounts payable processing for three entities, including two US entities and one UK entity Assist with accounts receivable processing, including invoice generation for the same three entities Complete payment transactions for both domestic and international payments via automated check processing, ACH and wires Balance accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and cash Complete month-end journal entries for accounts payable, accounts receivable and cash Complete account reconciliations for above accounts Assist with Financial Quarterly Review completion Assist with division quarter-end requests Complete special projects including internal, division and corporate requests Adhere to all SOX requirements to ensure full SOX compliance Perform all aspects of the position according to the PCC Code of Conduct Education and Experience
Associates Degree in Accounting or Finance A minimum of two years of experience Sox Experience Preferred Competencies
Good working knowledge of all MS Office applications and internet applications High level of self-motivation to perform and succeed Ability to work under minimal supervision and use own initiative Strong interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work effectively Ability to work under pressure and deadlines Able to work outside normal office hours as business requires Additional information
